COVID - 19 UPDATE

Unfortunately our weekly classes have been CANCELLED until further notice. Our decision wasn't easy but feel it is the safest option for our gymnasts and coaches involved. As of yet we are unsure when we will be reopening but will keep everyone updated as much as we can.

In the meantime, we wish everyone to stay healthy and active at home and be considerate of others around you that may not be as healthy.

Keep your eye out on our social media and in your emails for any other important updates on this matter.

Fundraising & Investing into the clubs future

Our clubs are constantly growing, getting bigger and better with each passing day.  Through our management team, all our coaches, volunteers and helpers and our Parent Support Group, we are constantly developing and expanding our clubs.

Since the start of Gym and JumpStarz we have been committed to investing into the clubs and providing new equipment where needed through various fundraising events.  This has included such things as an ASDA bag pack, cake sales, mad hair clubs events, club competitions or extravaganzas, fashion shows, ninja warrior UK obstacle course event and many more.  If you have any other ideas for fundraising activities please let your coaches know.

With the funds raised we have bought lots of things for our clubs.  We have bought new rigging belts for trampolining, replaced many floor mats and crash mats when needed, new bars for gymnastics and even a brand new air track for our members to use.  The list goes on and all what we purchase is to help our coaches and members get the best out of their sessions.

New Equipment!

Our latest Equipment includes: Parallel bars for our boys, two new floor bars, a beam widener and lots of new floor mats!! Keep your eyes peeled to see all new equipment in action during our sessions!

We are always fundraising to try and upgrade our equipment. GymStarz appreciate your ongoing support!

GymStarz Themed week!

We are introducing themed weeks into our sessions, beginning with Pre-School classes including: Weather, beach, numbers & colours and Zoo weeks.

In our Recreational classes, we are introducing equipment themed sessions including; Beam week, Bar week, Vault week and Tumble week! Keep up to date with our website, Facebook and Instagram to find out when these will be taking place!

For our Advanced classes, the gymnasts have set their own personal goals which we will be working hard to achieve.

Change 4 Life Silver Sports Club Award

Gym and Jumpstarz have been awarded the Silver Sports Club status from Change 4 Life.

In order for us to achieve this, the clubs had to appoint a Club Champion who would be responsible for setting a healthy example to all members. Our club Champion is Louise Stewart who coaches gymnastics on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at varying times.

We have been implementing healthy campaigns within our clubs such as, the Change 4 Life Sugar Swaps, and Change 4 Life Drink Swap. This has so far proved successful with many of our members making a change and bringing a healthy snack along to their sessions.

Gym & Jumpstarz have now banned fizzy drinks, crisps, sweets and chocolate being brought to gymnastics and sessions.
